This workshop aims to clarify the ways to achieve regulatory acceptance of New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) by addressing the major obstacles to their implementation. It will showcase how innovation can be turned into practical application, emphasizing the key success factors for NAMs validation. Furthermore, the workshop seeks to bridge the gap between NAMs developers, end-users, and regulatory bodies, fostering a collaborative environment to streamline the adoption of these advanced methodologies.

This symposium will focus on recent advances in bioengineering, in vitro BBB modeling and brain organoids. Keynote speakers of the day are Prof. Dr. Adrian Ranga (KU Leuven, BE) who will share methods for vascularizing cerebral organoids and Dr. Roberto Villaseñor Solorio (Roche, CH) who will share techniques to generate high throughput in vitro models of the BBB.

During this webinar, Prof. Peter Loskill will give a presentation on 'Organ-on-chip models integrating complex immunocompetent tissues for translational applications in immuno-oncology, (cardio)metabolic, and ophtalmology research'. He is Full Professor for Organ-on-Chip Research at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen and the Natural and Medical Sciences Institute, and head of the 3R-Center Tübingen for in vitro Models and Alternatives to Animal Testing.

This conference will discuss advancements in the field of organoids and the im is to create a platform for leaders in organoid research to discuss the advancements in 3D culture systems. If you want to submit a poster abstract, please ensure that the abstract includes the following: title, authors, affiliations, abstract body (up to 250 words). The upcoming 8^th 3D Cell Culture conference will focus on the application areas of functional precision medicine and address the following questions: How can 3D cell culture technologies help improve patient outcomes in the treatment of serious diseases? Which models are currently being tested, implemented, improved? What are the potentials of organoids, cellular aggregates and microphysiological systems (MPS), where are the current limitations?
