During the 54th Congress of the European Societies of Toxicology (EUROTOX 2018, 2-5 September, Brussels), the RE-Place Best Poster award (500€) was granted for the first time to acknowledge important work in the field of Replacement methodology. Based on the scientific excellence and potential impact of her research, the RE-Place team selected Dr. Nuria Roldan (ARTORG Center of the University of Bern, Switzerland) for her poster entitled “Acute lung injury on-chip: building a disease predictive model that emulates alveolar biomechanics”.
